Original language and subtitle language are different
Cinego’s original-language label describes the production. It does not enumerate the tracks available in every viewing edition. A Korean film may have an English subtitle option on one service and a different set of languages elsewhere.
Choose the track on the viewing player
Before starting a long film, open the destination’s language menu. Select the spoken audio and subtitle track separately where the player allows it. For family viewing, check that the requested dub is present rather than relying on a language mentioned in a general description.
Make captions comfortable
Subtitle size, contrast and a background box can improve readability if the player offers those controls. Captions may include important sound descriptions as well as speech. Choose the track that suits how you are watching. A translated subtitle track may not contain the same sound information.
When subtitles drift
Confirm that the track belongs to the edition being played. Alternate cuts or introductions can affect alignment. Use subtitle delay only if the player provides it; otherwise try another available track or edition. Changing the original-language filter on Cinego will not change subtitle timing in another player.
